The most important items to pack for the Nashik Kumbh Mela are high-quality walking shoes (you will walk 10-15 km a day), a high-capacity power bank, and a basic medical kit containing oral rehydration salts and blister tape.

Packing for the Kumbh Mela is entirely different from a normal holiday. Because vehicles are banned near the ghats and you will be navigating extreme crowds in humid weather, you must pack light, smart, and purely for survival and comfort.

1. The Foundation: Footwear and Bags
